Hybrid sturgeon caviar :

Hybrid sturgeon

This species of hybrid sturgeon was obtained by artificially cross breeding Kaluga (mother) with Amur sturgeon (father) that were captured in the wild from Amur River in north China. Its eggs have comparable size and quality with Kalugas. Generation F2 was obtained by reproducing within the Company in 2005 and 2006.

The Farm

Our farm is located in the Qiandao lake, which is known as the worlds most beautiful water. By making full use of the technological and resource advantages of all share holding institutes, the Company uses net cages and flowing water pools to farm sturgeon in a 100% ecological environment, with green, environment-friendly, and safe fish feed that contains no chemicals like antibiotics or hormones. A great number of 10~15 year old brood stock are farmed in great care, to supply quality material for caviar and fish meat processing, and quality brood stock for breeding.
